Officially after midnight on 6/30 I will start the 500 calories a day. The instructions given to me has what to eat and what not to eat.
Allowed Protiens:
Veal or Steak
Fresh White Fish: Halibut, Cod, Flounder, Monkfish, Perch, Pike, Pollock, Snapper, Sole, Whiting
Crab Meat, Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops
Chicken Breast only
Salmon, eel, tuna fish, herring, DRIED, PICKLED or SMOKED fish are NOT allowed
Allowed Vegetables:
Spinach, Chard, Chicory, Beet-greens, Green Salad, Tomatoes, Celery, Fennel, Onions, Red Radishes, Cucumbers, Asparagus, Cabbage, Brocolli, Cauliflower, Zucchini
Try not to mix vegetables - One vegetable choice per serving.
NO Pumpkin, Beetroot, Potatoes, Carrots, Peas, or Corn
Allowed Fruits:
Apple, Strawberries (6 large), Orange, 1/2 Grapefruit
Allowed Liquids:
Tea/coffee, Soda Water, Mineral Water, Diet Soft Drink (up to two cans)
There are some other instructions as when to eat these items to make sure its under 500 calories. But I will update that later. As for tonight when I go to work .. I am going to bring broccoli and chicken for dinner.
Today I weighed in at 248.
Given what I had to load up on the past 2 days I was told not to worry about the gain.
