Trainer Tip from Chris Powell


I was watching Extreme Makeover : Weight Loss Edition the other day .. and Chris Powell who is the trainer on the show gave a good training tip that I thought applied to me very much.  Chris Powell is the trainer on the show that follows a person's journey to weight loss for 365 days.  Nothing too drastic like the Biggest Loser.  Usually the show is 2 hours long and the 365 days are crammed into one episode.

Chris talks about creating a milestone in ones life.  And to reach that milestone .. you'll have to train for it to get there.  As for me .. I've signed up for races once a month since February .. and by doing that .. it keeps me accountable to work out and train so I can actually finish a race.

Certainly this year as been a milestone in itself ... I couldn't have imagined running for so long 2 years ago.  Better things are coming for me .. and I have to train to get to another milestone in my life.  I train to better myself.
