GYM REVEAL : Who's that chick ????



Who's that girl ???? Thats my trainer Alexa .. whom I've been working with since day 1.  She an rambunctious short little filipino girl.  Don't judge her by height but she is a singing diva that can work someone to the ground (not really).  Everytime I work with her she has to sing me a song of the day ... she's got a big voice for such a tiny girl.   For my FB friends I'll post a youtube of her singing on my wall.

In order to have success with fitness when working with a personal trainer .. I believe that the trainer and trainee needs to have some connection.  Without any connection .. the workout can be very dull and boring.  It would feel like going to a job that you don't enjoy.  With Alexa, I train with her every Tuesdays and Thursdays .. and I look forward to it when she hustles and bustles me in my workout.  She makes me sweat .. I don't think any girl has made me sweat that much. 

Some people asks me how do I have the energy to go to the gym after working graveyard.  I tell them that it is doable .. just have a positive mentality .. and make it a habit to carry extra gym clothes in the car.  Because I pack my gym clothes in my car .. I don't have an excuse to go home and get my gym bag.  For days that I am off, I make it a goal to go to the gym no matter how late I wake up.  There is always motivation in everything that we do.   This motivation turns into a goal ... My motivation was seeing the pounds shed off my body everyday .. and my goal is to hopefully reach the 190's ... It wasn't as easy as when I was on the diet .. but I have to work hard to play harder!

There are quotes throughout the gym on the walls .. and my favorite one was posted in the group fitness room.  It said something like "Sweating is your body's way of applause" .. I like to read this quote every time I go to a class ... It feels good to sweat everything out after a long night of work.  I leave the gym feeling good and stress free.

My training regimen schedule:
  • Tuesday & Thursday - 1 hour cardio before meeting with Alexa 
  • Monday & Friday - 1 hour cardio before attending Anti Gravity Yoga
  • Tuesday & Wednesday - 1 hour cardio before attending a dance class
  • Saturday & Sunday - 1 hour cardio, some weight training, and sometimes Sunday should be my rest day
 Today I weighed in at 211.5
